We recently completed a beautiful Indian sandstone patio transformation in Sandridge, St Albans, replacing an extensive area of old concrete paving with a stunning natural stone finish. The original patio had become tired and weathered, with weeds appearing between the slabs, and was ready for a complete refresh.

Our team installed new Indian sandstone paving across the generous patio area running alongside the property, extending beneath the established pergola and connecting beautifully with the surrounding garden. The sandstone features a wonderful mixture of warm golden, buff, brown and subtle grey tones, with each slab displaying its own natural character. The varied sizes and colours create an attractive, traditional finish that perfectly complements the property’s brickwork and mature garden setting.

The transformation also includes new brick edging and raised garden borders, providing a smart separation between the patio, planting areas and lawn. These finishing touches help define the different sections of the garden while bringing the whole outdoor space together.
